The beauty of Switzerland is a Swiss affair – this motto stands behind «greetings from switzerland», the silk foulards of the Swiss company beyondSilk. The handcrafted silk scarves are a genuinely Swiss product, from the design by Zurich artist Karin Birkenmeier, through the printing at the Mitlödi silk printing mill in the canton of Glarus – the last silk printing mill in Switzerland, which has since closed – to the hand finishing by seamstresses in the canton of Appenzell. The world's finest crêpe de Chine silk was used for all scarves.

The collection covers the top Swiss destinations Davos, St. Moritz, Zermatt, Interlaken, Lucerne, Zurich and Geneva, as well as the foulard Switzerland. Artist Karin Birkenmeier composed the defining motifs of each destination into wonderful works of art. Her designs show the beauty of these destinations with a new exclusivity, with style, and with the high quality that is typical of Switzerland. The goal: to consciously appreciate the beauty of Switzerland and carry it out into the world – as a souvenir, a gift or a work of art.
